UPLIFTING VIDEOS
Individuals and families can use social media, email, and texting to share uplifting videos that the church has produced. Hundreds of inspirational messages are found on Youtube and often apply to people's lives, regardless of their knowledge of the gospel or religious beliefs. These uplifting videos share gospel truths that are helpful in life. Many can help others heal. Others motivate people to rise to thier potential. Because the spirit's primary role is to bear witness of truth, others can hear the Savior's voice through them.

How to Share a Video on Social Media
Because there are so many social media platforms, including facebook, instagram, etc, exactly how to share a video differs slightly. But, in most cases it starts with getting the share link from a video on Youtube. A great way to learn how this is done is to Google it by seaching for 'how to share a youtube video on facebook' or 'instagram'. You'll find written directions as well as videos that can walk you through the steps. You can also ask a friend who knows about video-sharing to teach you.
Following Up
As with all tools to help gather Israel, following up with others is imporant. With each invitation (or social media post) decide in advance how you will follow up. For a general social media post, for example, you may ask friends to post their thoughts about the message or to contact you if they want to know more. If sharing with a specific individual, ask them a few days after sharing what they thought of the video. Share your thoughts and how you felt the video message related to your life or was similar to your struggle. You may also tenderly let them know that the message reminded you of a struggle they are experiencing. However you choose to do it, following up can send a powerful message that you personally care for an individual. Feeling such love can soften the heart of your friend and prepare them to better hear His voice and accept additional invitations to act in the future.
